Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 25-1, January 22, 2025, Virtual Meeting

Meeting called to order at 1:02 PM. Present: Hawley, Fuller, Apana, Aron, Corey, Kostic, Proctor, Williams.

MMC to approve minutes of December 17, 2024 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on correspondence from AFM counsel regarding political changes with the NLRB. Apana reported on age statistics of members.

VP Report: Fuller reported on speaking to Symphonia management regarding starting announcements before the call time; continuing music issues at SOA; meeting the new ACO executive director; resignation of Gittelsohn from Symphonic Committee.

President's Report: Hawley reported on attending PBOOMA meeting; musician mental health issues at PBO; sending letter to OM regarding failure to recognize overtime and the lack of a response.

Committee Reports: none.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for February 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm.

Unfinished Business: none.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to not renew fgomusicians.org domain.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of organizing; encouraging members to attend membership meeting; contractors for Harry Potter tour. Williams reported that he continues to update the club listing and recommended adding venue reviews; Apana noted that Venuology is set up to do this.
