Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 24-6, June 19, 2024, Virtual Meeting

Meeting called to order at 4:42 PM. Present: Hawley, Fuller, Apana, Aron, Corey, Kostic, Reskin, Proctor, Williams.

MMC to approve minutes of May 30, 2024 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on filing F7 for BAA negotiation; increased expenses for ROPA conference attendance; website issues with secure server configuration and outages.

VP Report: Fuller reported on speaking to Kaye re: Christ Fellowship; DeSantis veto of arts funding.

President's Report: Hawley reported on outreach to Miami Jazz Booking.

Committee Reports: Aron noted the scale committee will meet on July 2.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for July 24, 2024 at 12:30 pm.

Unfinished Business: none.

New Business: none.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of ACO pay rates; musicians not being listed on orchestras' websites; lowball tours; scales for SFS subcontracted engagements; the need for a Local 655 Instagram page.
