Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 24-3, March 27, 2024, Virtual Meeting

Meeting called to order at 2:05 PM. Present: Hawley, Fuller, Apana, Aron, Corey, Kostic, Reskin, Proctor, Williams.

MMC to approve minutes of February 23, 2024 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on correspondence from PayPal re subscriptions; IRS re stolen refund check; AFM re Hollywood negotiations; Bloom re requests for no breaks at gigs. Apana reported on SWFLSO tentative contract agreement and the status of the AFM liability insurance.

VP Report: none.

President's Report: Hawley reported that she and Apana will be visiting with NWS fellows soon. She reported on conversations with MCB musicians.

Committee Reports: none.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule executive board meeting for April 25, 2024 at 12:30 pm.

Unfinished Business: MMC (moved by Reskin) to appoint Kleiman to casual committee.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to send congratulations to Local 389 on their 100th anniversary.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of survey results, including the need to survey theater rates, visit clubs, create a message focusing on fairness, and to increase community involvement.
