Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 23-07, August 9, 2023, Virtual Meeting
Meeting called to order at 12:04 PM. Present: Reskin, Apana, Aron, Corey, Fuller; absent: Kleiman, van Eck.
MMC to approve minutes of July 6, 2023 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
correspondence from Coe re: unpaid gigs; AFM re: SOCO EIN; EPF re:
audit. Apana reported that Ringcentral free plans no longer have
unlimited meeting times. Apana reported on membership roll statistics.

President's Report: no report.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC (moved by Apana) to poll the board at the end of the month re: meeting times for September.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: none.
Good and Welfare: Aron reported to the board on communications from
G Miller re: dismissal from the MCB orchestra over lack of Covid
vaccination. Discussion of upcoming 655 elections. Discussion of
recruitment and organizing. Proctor arrived at 12:45 PM. Bravo arrived
at 12:50 PM. Continued discussions. MMC (moved by Corey) to have all
board members develop questions for an all-musician survey of
membership status, reasons, and concerns to be reported to the board by
the next meeting for deployment of said survey shortly thereafter. Aron
departed at 1:20 PM.
