Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 21-8, August 16, 2021, via Zoom
Meeting called to order at 12:07 PM. Present: Reskin, Apana, Corey, Folse, Fuller; absent: Bravo.
MMC to approve minutes of July 23, 2021 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
correspondence from MPTF re continuation of streamed performances; BAA
re furlough of McDaniel. van Eck arrived at 12:13PM

Report: van Eck noted that SOA is still anticipating its season to start. Kleiman arrived at 12:18 PM.
President's Report: Reskin noted the passing of member G Mayone.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule Zoom board meeting for September 20,
2021 at 12:00 pm.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to authorize checks #4310-4329
as attached.
Good and Welfare: Folse noted that director Bravo is improving and
expects to be back at work in a few weeks. Apana noted that he expects
to apply for PPP loan forgiveness at the end of September. Apana
encouraged the Board to read the recent IM article about the
Philadelphia Local. Aron arrived at 12:24 PM.
Aron noted that the Kravis Center is requiring COVID vaccinations and
hopes that others follow suit. Fuller informed the Board of the
Sarasota Orchestra safety protocols and research done. Apana informed
the Board of legal issues over vaccine mandates discussed at the ROPA
and TMA conferences.
