MMC to approve minutes of June 18, 2018 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
communications from AFM re TV negotiations; Reid re transferring
membership; AFM re Bocelli concert taping; Baltimore Local re scale
increases. Van Eck arrived at 2:45 PM.
Apana reported on Recording Academy We Are Music campaign and status of PBO grievance.

Report: van Eck reported on request from Pompano arts council for volunteer musicians.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to approve scale variance for
Salute to Vienna for December 2018-January 2019. MMC (Moved by Apana)
to file charges against Nordstrom should an AFM recording agreement not
be executed for Bocelli concert PBS use.
Good and Welfare: Apana noted upcoming major events that may hire
local musicians and should be researched. Apana suggested starting
committee/steward training workshops and holding orientations just
prior to membership meetings.
