Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 15-5, 1 June, 2015, at Artserve

Meeting called to order at 1:00 PM. Present: Bertolet, Satterwhite, Apana, Aron, Dixon, Leon, Michels, Reskin.

MMC to approve minutes of April 27, 2015 meeting.

Corcillo arrived at 1:03 PM

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on correspondence from Shermer re membership presentations; AFM re SRLA negotiations; MPF re allocations; Peel and Sudduth re resignations; AFM SSD re wage chart website.

VP Report: Satterwhite reported on discussions re PBO; speaking to class at Lynn re AFM and unionism; discussions re PBO sub lists; attempt by Wick Theatre to replace musicians with students and later with tracks.

President's Report: none.

Committee Reports: Dixon reported on meeting with PBO management to delay auditions and discuss string rotations.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule meeting for 7/28/15 at 10:30 AM.

Unfinished Business: none.

New Business:  MMC (moved by Apana) to appoint Michels to recording committee and Kolcz and Alamilla to casual committee.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of Boca Festival of the Arts using a student orchestra. Discussion of BRPS pay cuts. Discussion of effect of normalizing relationship with Cuba on musicians. Aron departed at 3:06 PM.
