Meeting called to order at 12:10 PM. Present: Clippard, Apana, Aron, Van Eck; absent: Kolcz.

MMC to approve minutes of September 10, 2014 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on correspondence from AFM re Motion Picture negotiations; Insurance agent re Workers Comp audit; Broward County re 100th anniversary; Universal Music re pension payments for C Castro sessions; NWS re Musaic; AFM/Manley re BAA roster and C Turley. Apana reported on information from recently filed MSO 2013 990 IRS return.

VP Report: none.

President's Report: Clippard reported that the AFLCIO is soliciting volunteers for election canvassing and phone banks.

Committee Reports: none.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule meeting for December 15, 2014 at 10 AM.

Unfinished Business: confirmation of poll: MMC to appoint E Martinez to Election Committee. Corcillo arrived at 12:40 PM.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to send letters to FIU faculty asking them to warn their students that performing for MSO is at their own risk, and to recruit volunteers to leaflet the November 16, 2014 MSO concert.
