Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 14-9, 10 September, 2014, at Artserve

Meeting called to order at 11:56 AM. Present: Clippard, Apana, Corcillo, Kerley, Stanley, Van Eck; absent: Aron.

MMC to approve minutes of August 21, 2014 meeting and May 9, 2014 membership meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on suspended members, Atlanta Symphony lockout. Bermann arrived at 12:02 PM.

VP Report: none.

President's Report: Clippard reported that she and Apana met with SFS and Broward Arts Council representatives at the invitation of the arts council. Kolcz arrived at 12:07 PM.

Committee Reports: none.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule meeting for November 12, 2014 at 11:30 AM.

Unfinished Business: none.

New Business: none.

Good and Welfare: Apana noted that Local officers have an obligation to abide by Local policies, wages scales, and Bylaws, and that officers found violating those rules and policies can damage the legitimacy of the Local. Kolcz asked for clarification on the recent email discussion regarding early pension benefits and serving on the Local Executive Board. Clippard and Apana reported on the meeting with SFS and Broward Arts Council.
