Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 14-8, 21 August, 2014, at Artserve
Meeting called to order at 11:44 AM. Present: Clippard, Kolcz, Apana, Aron, Kerley, Stanley, Van Eck.
MMC to approve minutes of July 11, 2014 meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on
correspondence from IM re SFS article; 802 re Met negotiations; Broward
Cultural Affairs re meeting with SFS; re Ullico bankruptcy settlement;
re Met Life class action lawsuit. Bermann arrived at 11:46 AM.
VP Report: none.
President's Report: Clippard reported on meeting with BAA regarding
hiring list issues and updating the hiring list. Corcillo arrived at
12:07 PM.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to schedule meeting for October 9, 2014 at 11:30 AM.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: none.
Aron departed at 12:34 PM.
Good and Welfare: Apana requested help in collecting addresses for
MISO and SFS campaign mailings. Apana reported that several members
have submitted profiles for inclusion in the newsletter and asked that
the Board encourage others to also submit profiles. Kerley led a
discussion regarding options in the FGO/Youtube lawsuit; it was decided
to request a meeting with S Danis to solicit settlement offers.
