Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 14-5, May 9, 2014 after Membership Meeting, at Artserve
Meeting called to order at 12:18 PM. Present: Clippard, Apana, Aron, Bermann, Corcillo, Kerley, Van Eck;
Kolcz, Stanley absent.
MMC to approve minutes of April 14, 2014 meeting and March 20, 2014 membership meeting.
Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report,
membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on suspended members.
VP Report: none.
President's Report: Clippard reported on MSO wage theft claims and
communication from AFLCIO re airport workers' dispute over low pay.
Committee Reports: none.
Special Orders: MMC to reschedule meeting for June 5, 2014 at 11:30 AM and schedule meeting for July 11, 2014 at 11:30 AM.
Unfinished Business: none.
New Business: MMC (moved by Van Eck) to notify L Johnson regarding
unpaid wages at SFS and MSO. MMC (moved by Apana) to identify members
willing to write letters to Board members regarding unpaid wages and
report back at next meeting.
Good and Welfare: discussion of volunteer orchestra Miami Festival Chamber Orchestra.
