Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 13-6, July 12, 2013 at 11AM, at Artserve

Meeting called to order at 11:04 AM. Present: Clippard, Kolcz, Apana, Holstein, Stanley.

MMC to approve minutes of June 7, 2013 meeting.

Kerley arrived at 11:05 AM.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on communications from AFM re Despicable Me 2 recordings; FGO re hearing to revisit summary judgement motion; Gelfand re meeting during AFM Convention; Kula re negotiating a CBA.

Corcillo arrived at 11:14 AM. Van Eck arrived at 11:20 AM.

Committee Reports:
Kolcz reported that there has been little response from the 100th Anniversary Committee.
Stanley reported on conversations with Mandel/TMA.

Bermann arrived at 11:24 AM.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule meeting for 9/13/13 at 11:00 AM.

Unfinished Business: MMC (moved by Clippard) to explore holding a jam session/networking event in mid-October, and to have Kolcz to investigate possible venues. MMC (moved by Corcillo) to explore holding a 9/11 concert, and to have Corcillo explore venues.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to find Michael Perez guilty of failure to pay work dues.

MMC (moved by Apana) to compile a list of local musical organizations for internal purposes. Discussion of FGO lawsuit. Holstein departed at 1:41 PM.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of membership drive. Discussion of requesting that local organizations hire local musicians whenever possible. Discussion of status of BAA hiring list and CBA. Discussion of SOA.
