Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 07-6, 13 August 2007 at 11:30 am

Meeting called to order at 11:48 am. Present: Roitstein, Apana, Ballard, Chandler, Emery, Glansdorp, Satterwhite, Warner; absent: Parente.

MMC to approve minutes of June 2007 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of activities log, expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Apana reported on Entertainment Industry Email Exchange; Florida AFM Local Officers email list; clarification of expense totals for the year.

President's Report: presentation of written report. Roitstein reported on potential Univision sale; potential recording for broadcast of Christmas Glory concert; issues regarding SPF payments for arrangers; upcoming expiration of jingle agreement.

Symphonic Rep Report: presentation of written report. Apana and Ballard reported on development of Pit Pals program; upcoming resumption of NWS negotiations; signing of PBO CBA.

MPF Report: presentation of written report. Chandler reported on development of an educational series and soliciting promo for programs to be offered to schools.

Special Orders: MMC to schedule next meeting for 9/28 at 10:00 AM.

Unfinished Business: continued discussion of upcoming Freelance Networking Event.

New Business: MMC (moved by Apana) to find Ron Abel guilty of violating Article 9, Sections 35-36 of the AFM Bylaws for nonpayment of work dues. MMC (moved by Apana) to join Artserve. MMC (moved by Apana) to establish annual office staff evaluations in November of each year.
