Regular Executive Board Meeting Number 07-3, 23 March 2007 at 10:00 am

Meeting called to order at 10:12 am. Present: Roitstein, Apana, Ballard, Glansdorp, Satterwhite; Emery, Parente absent.

MMC to approve minutes of February 2007 meeting.

Secretary-Treasurer's Report: presentation of activities log, expense report, membership rolls, bank balance data, and new members. Receipt of correspondence from AFM-EPF; several members regarding email and phone messages that had not been returned. Warner arrived at 10:18 AM.

Apana reported on providing assistance to Local 389 on a recording contract database and Local 777 on website development; calls made to musicians who are due SPF money.

President's Report: presentation of written report. Roitstein reported on assisting members with the new SRLA rates and conversations with several members on why they should remain members.

Symphonic Rep Report: presentation of written report. Apana and Ballard reported on NWS Fence negotiations. Chandler arrived at 10:47 AM.

Apana and Ballard reported on KWS developments, including the firing of Birnbaum; possible MENC code violations by FIU; PBO CBA signing issues.

MPF Report: Chandler reported on selection of a scholarship winner; that funds are still available.

Good and Welfare: Discussion of Professional Musicians Guild and the Videogame Agreement. Discussion of Ponder request for speakers at FCC hearing in Tampa. Discussion of promoting the accomplishments of the Local. Discussion of staff salaries.
