Special Executive Board Meeting, 19 May 2005 at 12 noon

Meeting called to order at 12:28 pm. Present: Walker, Roitstein, Apana, Ballard, Chandler, Levin, Raimondi, Warner. Luger arrived at 12:45 pm.

Extended discussion of creation of Symphonic Representative position; MMC (moved by Apana) to create position. MMC to schedule next regular meeting for June 20 at 10:00 am. MMC (moved by Walker) to appoint Apana and Ballard to jointly fill Symphonic Rep position. MMC (moved by Luger) to establish a weekly salary of $200 for the Symphonic Rep position, to be paid for initially by up to $10,000 to be withdrawn from cash reserves, and to review whether the position should be continued after 21 weeks. Walker departed at 2:10 pm, at which time Roitstein assumed the chair. Discussion of Symphonic Rep duties and goals and Symphonic Committee involvement. Discussion of potential dates for next membership meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 2:20 pm.
