SAG-AFTRA members have gone on strike against the video game industry. They have been in negotiations for over 18 months and the largest sticking point is artificial intelligence. The workers are also seeking higher wages and have job safety concerns.

14,000 Disneyland workers have a new three-year agreement. They will see substantial pay increases, with those making $19.90 per hour seeing their pay immediately rise to $24 per hour. Senior cast members will now receive longevity pay and all cast members will see improvements in sick leave and attendance policies.

An NLRB regional director has ruled that Amazon is a joint employer of the drivers working for its Delivery Service Partners and is obligated to bargain in good faith with their union. In 2023, drivers in California became the first Amazon drivers to unionize, and are represented by the Teamsters.

Members of the National Women Soccer League Players Association have a new game-changing contract. The new contract eliminates the draft, gives free agency to all, guarantees contracts will not be terminated, provides for revenue sharing, and addresses health and safety issues such as game frequency, travel conditions, and time off.

Brightline workers have filed cards asking to be represented by the Transportation Workers Union. In addition to fair wages, they are concerned about being able to get time off when they are sick or have emergencies. They are also concerned about trauma and dealing with angry passengers during the near-weekly fatal crashes.
