South Florida Musicians Association is in the process of creating a new podcast, “The 655,” and we want to feature your tracks! If you would like to share your music on the show, please email one or two of your favorite tracks in any high quality audio format to the office. We will select one or two tracks per episode to feature at the beginning and end of the podcast. The podcast will feature interviews, so if you have people you would like to see interviewed, please let us know!
3 weeks ago, I released an album of my double bass arrangement of Suite Italienne by Igor Stravinsky. This music was originally written for violin piano and also cello piano, and is derived from his neoclassic ballet Pulcinella.
My arrangement was published by Boosey and Hawkes in 2020. There is an interesting backstory to this project that I think would make for an interesting podcast.
